  What is Virtual Learning?
Virtual Learning provides the opportunity for you to take classes no matter where you are located and allows you to study at times that fit your schedule! Although the Dyslexia Training Institute is located in Southern California (San Diego), you can take any of our on-line classes anywhere you have an internet connection.

We carefully selected our software provider, iCohere, to support our learning objectives. Using iCohere’s platform we are able to provide you:

  • A system that is compatible with for both Mac and PC users
  • Timely announcements about important information and upcoming important dates
  • Discussion boards for class discussion that allow you to add attachments when necessary
  • Presentations and chats that can be presented in real time or can be accessed when you are available
  • A blog that allow you to share your stories and ideas with your classmates.
  • The opportunity to provide input. We can poll our class participants for information to assist us in meeting the needs of each new group participating in an on-line class.
  • With opportunities to be connected to others who have your same interests and/or backgrounds*.
(*We will create profiles of all participants and share only that information that allows participants who would like to be connected to others to be able to connect.)

*Note – Our experience has taught us that each on-line class must have a minimum number of participants for the participants to obtain the educational benefit we desire for our clients.
