Where does the time go?
It goes fast. A year goes by in the blink of an eye. The days are long and the years are short.
There are so many ways to describe how fast time goes. This is how we describe it: In 2025, we
continued to improve, to add, to innovate and to grow.
DTI is a boutique organization that provides high-quality training from a staff of lifelong learners
who are always ready for new professional development, a new idea, or reading up on the latest
research. Even more importantly, the DTI staff is personable, professional, and understands what
it means to provide feedback that moves you forward in your learning, while also holding you to
a high standard. We place a premium on customer service and believe the personal touch, the
person on the other end of the phone or email is important. We haven’t outgrown customer
service or quality and never will.

In 2025 we…
…released the second edition of our simulation kit, Dyslexia for a Day!
We are so incredibly excited to publish the second edition of Dyslexia for a Day. This new kit
comes with brand new videos, a new simulation, and instructions to implement the simulation
virtually, among many other new features. The kit walks participants through six different
simulations: two reading, two writing, one spelling, and one processing simulation. It is designed
to help individuals gain a better understanding of and empathy for those children and adults who
struggle with dyslexia. To read more, check it out HERE.
…were approved to offer ASHA CEUs!
We began to offer ASHA CEUs for the Defining Dyslexia course and the Annual Virtual
Conference. So, if you need those CEUs, we have a course and/or conference for you!
…continued to grow our Dyslexia Certificate Program (DCP), which is accredited at the Plus level from the International Dyslexia Association (IDA)!
In 2025, we entered our 14 th year of the online Dyslexia Certificate Program (DCP). We started
out as the only company to offer such a training online, way back in 2011. We offered it because
we had trouble finding the training for ourselves west of the Mississippi. While we are not the
only game in town anymore, we are the only training that allows participants to take the training
at their pace, without having to sit on Zoom for days on end. We do this while also making sure
our participants have access to our phenomenal instructors, and then they wrap it up by finishing
the practicum with a mentor. Participants get to keep their mentors throughout their practicum –
and we know everyone loves our mentors (as do we) because they tell us.
We spent 2025 continuing to update the curriculum with new videos, new content, and an updated look.
… offered a newly revamped Dyslexia Advocacy Virtual Conference.
In October, we offered the Dyslexia Advocacy Virtual Conference, which included eight highly-
qualified professionals who provided both parents and educators with practical advice to help advocate for students with dyslexia.
…began to offer group webinars online.
You can now schedule a time for your group to participate in a live webinar titled What is
Dyslexia, or you can schedule a group webinar to participate in a virtual Dyslexia for a Day
simulation. For more information, click HERE for What is Dyslexia and HERE for the virtual
simulation.

that really goes deep into the linguistics of it all? Check them out HERE.
So, how’s that for a year of progress?
I started DTI because I wanted to help and to matter. Together, we’ve built something meaningful, and I’m proud of that. But growth never ends for me. I’m always listening, always learning, and always looking for better ways to innovate and improve.
We are deeply grateful for your continued support and commitment to our mission. Together, we
are changing lives, one reader at a time. If you’d like to learn more about our programs visit our
website or follow us on Facebook or Instagram for regular updates.
Dyslexia is real!
