Understanding and Using Accomodations

4th-8th graders
In this four session course students will learn about the importance of accommodations, what types of accommodations are available, and when to use accommodations. They will be introduced to specific tools they can use for different needs. They will also learn how to inform others (educators, parents, friends) about why they need the accommodations.

This class is offered for:

· 4th-5th graders : (class size limited to 12 students) - 1:00-1:45pm PST (3:00-3:45pm CST/ 4:00-4:45 pm EST)

· 6th-8th graders : (class size limited to 15 students) - 2:00-2:45pm PST (4:00-4:45pm CST/ 5:00-5:45pm EST)

Class Dates
Session 1: T/Th - June 16, 18, 23, 25
Session 2: T/Th - July 21, 23, 28, 30
